Technology transition is a combination of interconnected services spanning from Science & Technology to acquisition aimed at providing the user with an emerging, new or improved technology.  RAE’s extensive experience shows that technology transition falls into four major categories:

  • Needs Assessment:  Determine needs and identify gaps between current and desired capabilities.
  • Technology Identification:  Identify available and emerging technologies and determine what single or combination of technology is best suited for a particular application.
  • Transition Management:  A series of compatible services that come together to provide an emerging, new or improved capability.
  • Analysis and Program Support:  Conduct studies and analyses and perform other related tasks to identify, evaluate, and ultimately field technologies of interest

RAE employs proven approaches, tools, and processes to support each category, and is able to accelerate the technology adoption curve by tailoring transition services to a customer’s specific needs.
